JAIF & Nuclear 4 Climate (N4C) @COP26

JAIF joined a group of young nuclear advocates from all over the globe at COP26 under the N4C initiative to promote the #NetZeroNeedsNuclear campaign and raise awareness of how nuclear can help the world achieve decarbonization.

Nuclear for Climate (N4C), co-founded by the ENS, the French Nuclear Society (SFEN) and the American Nuclear Society (ANS) in 2015 ahead of COP21, is a grassroots initiative gathering over 150 associations, including JAIF, with the goal of educating policymakers and the public about the necessity of including nuclear energy among the carbon-free solutions to climate change.

The mission of the #NetZeroNeedsNuclear campaign is to accelerate the ability of the world to achieve Net Zero by 2050, by driving collaboration between nuclear and renewable technology.
