The 58th Annual Conference will focus on accelerating the deployment of nuclear power while keeping in mind the necessity of establishing an effective business environment under the 7th Strategic Energy Plan. In pursuit of new nuclear build, which is key to addressing the challenges faced by the nuclear industry, discussions will center on industry efforts and potential solutions related to financing and investment recovery schemes, supply chain, and human resources securing and development. In addition, the conference will also highlight the resilience and recovery efforts of local stakeholders in Fukushima and provide an opportunity to envision the future of the nuclear industry with the next generation of young leaders.

Invited speakers will include Chairman of the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren) TOKURA Masakazu, Senior Vice President of Nuclear Energy Institute John KOTEC and many others from not only nuclear but also diverse sectors across the world. They will share their expectations for nuclear power as a key decarbonized energy source to address the anticipated increase in electricity demand driven by the advancement of DX and GX. The discussion will focus on maximizing the use of nuclear power while prioritizing energy security, improving economic efficiency, and ensuring environmental compatibility.
