On May 22, the Kansai Electric Power Co. (Kansai EP) announced that it had finished loading 157 fuel assemblies at its Mihama-3（PWR, 826 MW）, located in Mihama Town in Fukui Prefecture, about 320km west of Tokyo.
The loading had begun two days earlier, on May 20, at 3:30 p.m., and continued until 10:25 p.m. on May 22. Kansai EP plans to restart the reactor on June 23 and bring it back online on June 29. Mihama-3 is expected to see full operation on July 27.
Because the utility will carry out all process with priority on safety, the schedule is subject to change.
